Gordon R. Muir’s legal practice spans the full spectrum of wills, trusts, and estates. He advises clients on everything from basic estate planning to complex strategies involving business succession, asset protection, probate and trust administration, and litigation. His areas of expertise also include will and trust contests, elder abuse, guardianships, and comprehensive estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning.

With a strong focus on delivering exceptional legal representation and client service, Mr. Muir is dedicated to helping individuals and families achieve their estate and tax planning goals. While he works diligently to help clients avoid litigation through thoughtful planning and alternative dispute resolution techniques, he is also a formidable advocate in court when necessary.

Beyond his legal career, Mr. Muir served as a missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Guadalajara, Mexico. He has been married to his wonderful wife, Janet, for over 40 years. Together, they have three children and six grandchildren. Deeply committed to his community, Mr. Muir has volunteered with the YMCA, Boy Scouts of America, Washoe County Senior Law Center, and the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada.
